[WATCH] LisaRaye McCoy’s Still Got It | The Actress Celebrates “The Players Club” 22nd Anniversary By Recreating Moves From The Hit Film

Last week marked the 22nd anniversary of “The Players Club”.

 

The hit film starring LisaRaye McCoy, Ice Cube, Jamie Foxx, the late greats Bernie Mac and Charlie Murphy and many other legendary Black actors debuted in theaters on April 8, 1998.

 

 

Ice Cube wrote and directed the film all at the age of 28. “The Players Club” was his directorial debut and the movie premiered top 5 on the box office charts, generating $5.8 million in ticket sales.

 

A cult classic, “The Players Club” has gained traction once again on social media trending number one on Netflix after it was made available for streaming on April 1st.

 

 

LisaRaye along with Chrystale Wilson (Ronnie) and a few other guests from the movie held a Netflix watch party last night to celebrate the film’s 22nd birthday.

 

During the live stream, LisaRaye took to Instagram to show fans that she’s still got it by recreating some of her hit moves from the film.

Now at age 51, she’s the proof that Black certainly does not crack. And like many, we can’t believe she’s someone’s grandmother, not looking a day over 30.
