Boris Kodjoe wants ya’ll to stop taking things and running with them.
Kodjoe and wife Nicole Ari Parker joined Chris and Vanessa Spencer on their “Date Night” Instagram live show which is coming soon to Kevin Hart’s Laugh Out Loud Radio.
When expressing how she wants more attention from her husband, the actress said, “I wish that he was my boyfriend again. I don’t necessarily want to be single but I miss the single life. I miss the text messages for no reason. I miss the coming up from behind me when I’m scrambling eggs and just kissing me on the back of my neck.”
Chris Spencer jokingly adds, “I still do that Boris, I still do that” and Kodjoe’s response sent users in a frenzy with many assuming that he was uninterested in the conversation or seemed dismissive.
Today, the Station 19 actor[Are TV shows quotations? If so, let’s make sure we do that throughout] took to his own IG to address the backlash:
Come on y’all, really?! ??? ?? #OkFirstOfAll you’re chomping on a short clickbait slice of a HILARIOUS HOUR LONG conversation on our best friends’ new show.
#SecondOfAll this part was meant to give hope to those of us who’ve been together a LONGA$$Time #RealTalk.
After marrying back in 2005, the couple has been together for 14 years now and have two beautiful children together, Sophie Kodjoe, (14), and Nicholas Kodjoe, (12).
Kodjoe wanted to make it very clear that they’re good over there ending his post with:
“And please don’t tag me in anymore of this #BullSh@&$. I’ll be over here kissing the back of @nicoleariparker’s neck for no reason.”
