She’s Not Ready: Tiffany Haddish Cancels Atlanta Show Over Georgia Abortion Ban

As a form of peaceful protest against Georgia’s recent “heartbeat” abortion law, Tiffany Haddish has used her platform to take a stand with women, along with a few other celebrities. Many have questioned Haddish’s recent decision to forgo her June 22nd show in Atlanta, GA scheduled at the Fox Theatre. Haddish does not stand alone during this time. Several celebrities have spoken out against the bill and have voiced their sentiments of abandoning Georgia if it becomes a law. Ariana Grande even donated the proceeds of her concert in Georgia earlier this month to Planned Parenthood. Gabrielle Union, Ben Stiller, Amy Schumer, Don Cheadle, and Uzo Aduba have all signed a letter that was sent to the governor denouncing the anti-abortion bill along with promises to discourage production in the state if the bill is enforced through law.
