Vanessa Bryant celebrated her birthday yesterday by sharing an unopened card from her late husband Kobe Bryant. A blessing in disguise, she found this card only hours before her big day.
“Yesterday I found an envelope labeled ‘To: The Love of my Life,’ ‘From, Tu Papi’ ” wrote Vanessa on Instagram. “I waited to open one more letter on my birthday. It gave me something to look forward to today.
Vanessa allowed us into her birthday celebration in her IG post,
“Missing the Love of my Life and my sweet little Mamacita- my fellow Taurus. Grateful to wake up to my 3 sweet girls today. Wish we were all together.”
The touching letter she found included a photo that Kobe had of her drawn with an angel holding her up.
Vanessa says her birthday wish would be that they all were still together. In January, she lost both Kobe and their beloved GiGi in a tragic helicopter accident. Last month, she honored what would have been the couple’s 19th anniversary.
