The power of prayer is real- read below for Whitfield’s original call to have everyone pray after she had been missing for about two weeks.
Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Shereé Whitfield is seeking the public’s help in finding her mother.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Thelma Ferguson was last seen leaving her home in Sandy Springs to go to the bank. Police reported she wearing a black shirt with gray pants and driving a 2009 Honda Accord.
Whitfield revealed the news via Instagram explaining that her mother often takes “personal vacations without letting the family know,” and they “respect that side of her.”
She goes on to say, “this is the longest she has gone without reaching out to anyone from the family or her friends. Right now we are leaning on God and staying positive and prayerful for her safe return home.”
Just last month Whitfield honored the women in her life for Women’s History Month and share photos of her beautiful mother.
“HOME is where the HEART is and prayer in numbers work. As we all continue to navigate through these uncertain times, remember the blessing of having each other… Family is everything!” Whitfield asked her followers to pray for her mother’s safe return.
Lastly, the television star urges anyone with information on Ferguson’s whereabouts to contact the Sandy Springs Police Department.
We’re praying they find their mother safe and healthy!
