Exhibit Gray Experience Atlanta: Social Change Through The Arts

One of the best ways to move culture forward is to support the upcoming generation of forward thinkers.  On Saturday, May 12, the Exhibit Gray Agency did just that in Atlanta with their traveling event, The Exhibit Gray Experience, where authors Enitan Bereola and Steve Canal introduced attendees to the work of 17-year-old visual artist Skyler Grey through an intimate exhibit. Grey is a 17-year old Los Angeles street art sensation who has been named on Forbes Magazine’s 30 Under 30 list. Grey’s works have been acquired by Sean “Diddy” Combs, Alicia Keys, Swizz Beats, pop singer Ashlee Simpson, The Game, Gabrielle Union, Dwayne Wade, Chairman of the Board, Guggenheim Museum Bruce A. Beal, Sr. and more.

Art, Conversation and Fellowship

Set at a beautifully manicured private home just north of the city, the afternoon began with a cocktail hour, with Ciroc Summer Colada drinks inspired by Bereola and Canal’s award winning books Exhibit Gray and The Mind of the Winner and sounds by Grammy Award winning producer Bryan-Michael Cox. After having had the opportunity to explore the artwork, Bereola, Canal, Grey and B. Cox were joined by Olympic Gold medalist Swin Cash for a no-holds barred conversation touching on everything from parenthood, to marriage to entrepreneurship and redefining culture and success. Most impressive was the overwhelming support given to Grey, whose poise and awareness belied his young age.

The Exhibit Gray Experience proved to be the perfect afternoon break, creating a space to process all that has been thrown at us in the media of late and allowing for the kind of fellowship that will lead to continued mutual support and solutions.
