Marsai Martin wants ya’ll to do better.
“Black-ish” star Marsai Martin has something to say to the Internet trolls who commented on her appearance during yesterday’s BET Awards.
Initially the 15-year-old responded via Twitter. “Sorry, some of ya’ll don’t like my hair. Or teeth…which are actually my teeth btw. Good thing I don’t put my effort in trying to please everyone. I like it. Chile I’m 16 this year, let me live.”
Sorry some of y’all don’t like my hair. Or teeth … which are my actual teeth btw. Good thing I don’t put my effort into trying to please everyone. I like it. Chile I’m 16 this year, let me live. I’m trying to stay sane in quarantine. Enjoy the #BETAwards ?

She later responded with a video where she proceeds to let the haters know, “we got more things to focus on besides my hair. Justice for Breonna Taylor.” All this while she wipes away tears with a $100 bill.
Martin has already left quite the mark on Hollywood. She became the youngest person to ever produce a movie at the age of 13 after serving as executive producer for the 2019 hit film “Little.”
Time Magazine featured her in their 100 Next list last year and she has nine NAACP awards under her belt.
