Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade linked up with their baller besties, Ayesha and Steph Curry in a hilarious IG live and listen, tea was spilled!
“She was a thot in ’98. I’m sure of it,” Wade recalls, with Union following up with, “I was! Listen, I enjoyed my life!.”
Union even opened up about the advice she gave a young Ayesha and Steph at a birthday bash for a mutual friend back in the day.
For those who don’t know, Steph and Ayesha actually met in Sunday School at church in North Carolina before tying the knot when they both were 23 years old.
She told them, “guys, the likelihood of this working out is very low, and you should just break up now and have sex with other people…is that not what I told y’all both?”
Ayesha remembers Union looking at her saying “how old are you? Okay!”
“Precisely, because I was a thot,” shares Union with Wade chiming in, “ I apologize for that! That is not who we are…anymore!”
Union said what she said and she “still might give the same advice!”
Good thing the Curry’s didn’t follow through. The couple will celebrate 9 years of marriage this upcoming July and several of them spent in the public spotlight. When asked why he got so married so young, Curry says, “why waste time if you’ve found the right one?”
