Black Girl Magic In Action! Beyoncé, Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj and Doja Cat Make Billboard History

Congratulations ladies! Four black women – Beyoncé, Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj and Doja Cat – grabbed the top two spots on the Billboard Hot 100 charts for the first time in HISTORY.

Doja Cat’s “Say So (Remix)”  featuring Nicki Minaj reached No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Monday and Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage (remix)” featuring Beyoncé slid into the No. 2.  spot.

For Doja Cat and Nicki, it was the first time either of their songs hit No.1 status on the Hot 100. Doja Cat is a newcomer, releasing her first album “Amala” in 2018, but Nicki Minaj, with more than 3 albums and several mixtapes under her belt, is a veteran who never reached these heights.

The ladies of Hip-Hop and R&B are killing the music game right now and making us so proud.

Megan Thee Stallion and Beyoncé announced last week that the artists’ proceeds from this hot new single will fund Bread of Life, Houston’s COVID-19 relief efforts. The hometown heroes banned together to support the Black and Brown citizens struggling in their community.

Cheers to these history-making queens!
