Last week at the 23rd annual American Black Film Festival (ABFF) in Miami Beach, aspireTV hosted its inaugural Evening of Ambiance. The exclusive event was held at the beautifully restored art deco chic Betsy Hotel. Nestled directly on Ocean Drive, an intimate group gathered at the vintage-luxe space for a carefully curated experience. Melanin, laughter and love filled the space as aspireTV’s talent added their personal touches to elements of the evening. Chris Spencer, (Icons, Idols + Influencers) emceed the celebration with a custom menu by Chef G. Garvin; and signature cocktail by Seth Brundle and Leslie Antonoff (Butter + Brown). Guests were also treated to an interactive photo experience designed by Nikki Chu (Unboxed with Nikki Chu) and special screening of the short film Tre from Nakia Stephens and Damn Write Originals.
Melissa Ingram, general mananger, aspireTV sparked conversation amongst the guests with a single question, “When was the first time you saw yourself on television?” In that moment, magic filled the room and that familiar feeling of family was created.
